Clipstone is open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner with additional heated and covered tables on our outdoor terrace.
We opened in the summer of 2016 aiming to be a great neighbourhood restaurant and the ambition is still the same today.
Our kitchen team is led by Executive Chef Chris Bassett and Head Chef Clara Albano and on the floor a warm welcome awaits from the team led by our GM Kat Adams.

Larger Tables

For larger tables, we offer a 3 course set menu at a fixed price. For Lunch £45 per person and for Dinner £65 per person. Please be advised that all within the group would be asked to dine on the set menu.
Wine has been central to what we do here at Clipstone since we opened in 2016.
Our focus is on wines which are interesting, well-made but most importantly a pleasure to drink. The list can be seen below and is constantly being tweaked and updated by our head of wine Georgia Bronner.
We have no specific regional or stylistic focus and aim to showcase wine in all its glorious variety although, as you can see our focus is on forward-thinking winemakers who always have sustainability and vitality at the forefront of their philosophy (whilst respecting their winemaking tradition).
Another passion of Georgia and the team’s are wines made from indigenous grapes in the less storied wine-producing regions of the world – we find these are often unique, well-made and most importantly very good value. Rest assured, we are also aware that ‘classics’ are called that for a reason and the below list also contains plenty of bottles from some of the world’s most well-regarded producers and regions.
Clipstone does not have a private room but one open, airy dining room which can seat up to 40 guests. We are delighted to often host private hires for both corporate functions and family celebrations.
We can be completely bespoke on menu, drinks and table layout and each event is handled personally by Rachael, our head of Guest Relations from initial enquiry to the day of the event.
